We have been talking to our friends over at Energias, a Brazilian electric utility company (read more about them here), and what they have been up to over the last few months. Check out what they have been doing below.

SIAD AERO was given approval to operate the Flamingo Mk3 in controlled airspace with manned aircraft.  The unmanned Flamingo Mk3 had ground and air movements coordinated by Air Traffic Control and successfully conducted autonomous operations and sequencing with regular traffic.  This is the first approval of this type granted by the air space regulator in Brazil and is another step towards full certification of the Flamingo Mk3 in Brazil.

We are really proud of our pedigree and original design intent to ensure we captured our design and testing to facilitate certification of our platform when the need arose.

Cristy has won two Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) for Best Ad and Best Sales Promotion, and even has an 'Employee of the Year' certificate with her name on it.

Cristy and her husband James have traveled extensively through Russia, China and South East Asia, and have two fur-babies, Sooty (cat) and Panda (puppy). Cristy loves drinking coffee, meeting people to drink coffee, coffee tasting and coffee flavoured cocktails. She also enjoys road trips, TED Talks and watching cat videos on youtube.
