The Flamingo Mk3 successfully completes data collection trials with the Riegl VUX-1 UAV Lidar for Mondo, one of Australia’s leaders in metering, mobile and spatial technology solutions for the utility and transport industries.

The trials held at Silvertone’s test facility in Wagga Wagga last week are the culmination of a coordinated effort between the 2 companies.  The data captured was of a better quality than had been captured by Mondo previously using manned aviation.

Phase 3 of the project is now being scoped for BVLOS trials and demonstrations in conjunction with Mondo.
